Any good ideas for replacing window roller shades and curtains on 1988 22’D Funchaser? Would mini blinds work?

Also what about the decals on outside? They are peeling or non existent due to sun exposure. Would repainting the stripes be an option?

Welcome to the forum. JR Repair has a graphics shop that will print original graphics. Some have replaced their graphics with original designs. There is someone on the forum that has penguins on theirs.

Home - JR REPAIR

You can Google RV shade and find several suitable replacements.

My HiLo friends used mini blinds. Impossible to get the original metal blinds .The limiting factor is the clearance needed to have the blind slide down the wall when the HiLo is lowered. It is a good idea to have the blinds rolled up when lowering the HiLo. Some have made curtains. I would think they used a simple round rod. We used rattle can paint on our 1990 decals. A real pain to do. Didn't come out perfect as some of the decals were cracked. I now have a 1996 and went to J&R for seal replacement. They only had the big HiLo up and down arrows. I have read where some have used a 3M wheel to remove the decals. Also try a product called ghost off. Try a local sign/graphics place where they can help you with replacements. Order what you need off the internet. Best of luck with your restoration.
