Default Portable tanks for black/grey water?

I am looking at a Hi-Lo camper which for about 3 months of the year will be parked in one location. Is there a portable tank system that I can use to dump the gray and black water tanks of the trailer, put the filled ones in the bed of my truck and have those emptied somewhere else, while the trailer stays in the same location?

Fresh water is no problem because it is available from hose bibs on site. However, there are no hookups to dump the waste tanks.

There are a number of portable tanks in various sizes that will work.

Portable tanks work well. I use one all the time. get one that is larger than your holding tank so you don't run it over.

Make sure you get a waste tank that has an opening that is at least level with your discharge valve, if not lower. Otherwise, you'll have a problem with gravity.

They do make 'slimline' tanks. Although they tend to be smaller.

Default Portable tank

I use a 25gal. portable tank, most of the time we do weekend trips.

I only use the portable tank for gray water, The cleanup is alot easier & I transport the tank in the back of my truck. I dump the black water from the trailer at the end of the camping trip.

Default portable tanks

I agree with every one else. Make shure you get a tank on wheels that can be towed behind your truck as 20 to 40 gal. of water or wast can be so heavy that trying to lift into a truck would be a danger.

I have a set of ramps and a elec wench to load things like the blue tank or a generater into the back of the truck with out the heavy lifting.
