Default Need the GVWR or UVW for a 95 23' FunLite

If this is the wrong subforum please move this thread.

Anyone have a 95 23' FunLite?

I bought a manual from JR Enterprises. 1995 was written by hand at the top. But its actually a 1996 manual and doesn't have a 23' model listed.

I do have the 95 FunLite brochure which states the hitch weight, axle weight and cargo capacity for my trailer.
The 1996 manual from JR has a 24' model with hitch weight, axle weight, cargo capacity, UVM (Unloaded Vehicle Weight) and GVWR.
So I calculated the average difference for axle weight and cargo capacity between the 23' and 24' to be 104% larger for the 23'.
Here are my calculations:
item ---------- 24FLD --- 23FFL --- diff
Hitch weight --- 590 --- 400 --- 0.68
Axle weight --- 3220 --- 3375 --- 1.05
Cargo capacity - 1390 --- 1425 --- 1.03
UVW ---------- 3810 --- 3962.4
GVWR --------- 5200 --- 5387.4

The above GVWR and UVW values for the 23FFL are calculations which are 104% of the 24FLD values.
That's the best I can come up with.

It's odd that the one year older and one foot shorter trailer has greater axle weight and cargo capacity according to the literature.
So I'm guessing that the GVWR and UVW is also greater?

Thanks for any help or insight,
Steve

According to my info on a 1995 23FFL model is:

Axle Weight (lbs approx) 3375

Hitch Weight (lbs approx) 400

Cargo Capacity (lbs) 1425

This info is verbatim from the brochure.
Hope this helps you.

Bob

Thanks retiredcamper47 ... I have the same brochure and information. But with only 1 of 3 variables (have cargo capacity but not UVM or GVWR) I can't calculate the other 2. I need either UVM or GVWR) ... Steve

Question

I’m confused. Just reread your post. If you have the info on your unit, what are you trying to figure out?

The 9523FLL brochure does not have UVM or GVWR. I need one of the two.

Thanks RCREYES, this will definitely help me not exceed the GVWR on my truck which is 6400 lbs.

But I still need to find the GVWG of my trailer so I don't exceed it.

I can see on the front left where I thick the GVWR sticker was. Why anyone would remove it is beyond me?
