Sold our Hilo because we decided we wanted a Lance 1575. So I found what I thought was a nice one for a fair price but it was 12 hours away from us in california. The salesman assured me there was no damage and promised no surprises if we drove that far. So we drove all day, stayed in Tempe overnight then drove to Fountain Hills to look at the trailer and it was very screwed up. Cupboards has been replaced with crude ones, there was indoor outdoor carpet covering up who knows what on the floor, a cracked front window and dent in the side from a collision!
So we didn't buy it, what a liar. Ended up driving 2 more hours to prescott and bought one there. It was exhausting. I guess I made the mistake of trusting a salesman.

Those trips are always a crap shoot. We drove from Southern California to Sandy, Oregon for a 27T, which the sales rep reassured me it was in great shape. Well, it was and we bought it.:) On the other foot, my son drove from Southern California to the Lake Shasta area for a tent trailer that was suppose to be in excellent condition. It wasn't! We later drove to Yuma, Arizona and he got a trailer that was in excellent condition.:)
