Today I called Kiddie fire extinguisher to report my two extinguishers that were on the recall list. One was a replacement we had bought for the HiLo. The other one was in our home. The recall goes all the way back to 1973. Just google the recall and you can fill out a form. I chose to call and my caLL was answered within one minute. A very good english speaking women. Have your extinguisher handy as I had to give her several numbers of the extinguisher. The will send out replacements with instructions on how to mail the defective ones back. They have long hrs and days for phone calls.
