Default Low aspect of owning a HiLo.

Got our estimate on our broken suspension part. Our HiLo service advisor told me the part broke due to old age. Don't know what the part is called. Will tell you when I see the itimized repair part. He recommended replacing all four sides at once. $500.00 (ouch). I guess any early christmas present to self.!! Since HiLos aren't being manufactured anymore it is refurbish time. Guess we'll have to go camping a lot next season to get our moneys worth. Our expensive hobby. Our rolling condo on wheels!! Keep our service advisor in your prayers as he is recovering from cancer/chemo therapy. His immune system is weakened. Says he is over the cancer and just trying to fully get over having the flu. Steve is his name.

Sam, I'm guessing it's a link to the leaf spring suspension?

Default suspension repairs

Your guess sounds about right. DH wasn't home when the estimate came in. I forgot to ask what the part was called. Didn't want to bother our service advisor again. Got ahold of dh on the cell phone and he said go ahead with the repairs to all four leafsprings.

Fixing the suspension should make you good to go for a long time.

Default Broken suspension

I agree. Good peace of mind. If you rattled down the road for a zillion miles you would be in rough shape too.
