Default Maybe someday!!

It was a balmy 71degrees today. We finaly got to take the battery out of our HiLo and put the winter cover on. Someday we will get to go to a warmer climate for the winter. My knee replacement surgery was canceled due to an infection I had that didn't respond to the first round of antibiotics. Saw the MD this week and he thinks the second antibiotic cleared the infection. Waiting on my lab test results. Bummer, new surgery date is Feb.13.2017. We are in for our first winter storm this weekend. Winds gusting up to 40MPH. Time to hunker down.

Default Yes sir I will stay warm!!

My house is probably 90% insulated. Just had the furnice tuned up and it is at 96%efecient. Last winter it was mild and it was July before we had spent $400.00 on heating, hot water and gas cooking. Can you say long johns and wool socks and down jackets. How about 4x4 truck?
