Received a Pm from Glenn Cole with first trip shake down questions. He has a 1990 25ft. Classic. Glen your questions could pertain to all hilos so that is why I posted a new thread. Your grey water backed up in the tub because your grey(soapy) water was full. When you don't have a sewer hookup you have to wet fast in the shower,turn water off,soap up and rinse fast. Wash dishes in a pan at the picnic table and water nearby trees. Use the campsite bathhouse for showering with flip flops. Some buy a blue tote and empty tanks and pull to dumpstation during the course of their stay. Ac leaking inside. Carefully go up on roof and remove screws from AC shroud. Remove any leaves dirt. Check that weep hole is not plugged. Check condition of Ac seal at roof. May need to replace seal and reseal with lapseal. Some have used externabond tape. Others add if he needs to do anything to the AC on the inside besides cleaning out the filter often. Can't get the unit to raise up again. I hope I got this part right.
