Just logged on and saw your prayer request. Since it's 11:11 am here I didn't get to pray for you before the procedure but I did as soon as I read your request. May God help your through this operation and get you home soon.
God Bless

Default Home from the hospital

Thanks for all the prayers I surely needed them. Had a couple of things go wrong, but the Nurses and aides were fantastic. The Dr. had to be called and he returned from his office and took care of the problem. He said the Nodule was quite large and had even grown since he saw me in the office two weeks ago. He couldn't believe I had no trouble breathing or swallowing. I,m feeling much better taking the pain pills as needed. Friday I see the Dr. again and I hope he will be able to remove the drain . The best news is no cancer!!

Sam -- Wishing you a speedy recovery. The worry about the anticipated surgery is worse than the surgery itself. Now, it is smooth sailing!! The medical community is armed with so much information about nodular thyroids today. When I had one-half of my thyroid removed in 1969 at age 23 after the birth of my son, the medical community seemed to know nothing about multi-nodular thyroid which was my condition. After the wound is healed well, you will have to look very hard to even see a scar.

Default surgery recovery

Thanks for your words of wisdom. You are so right . This was my sixteenth surgery that I have had and some of them wouldn"t have been necessary with the medical advances that have occured nowadays. Couldn"t remove the drain today as I have a bit too much drainage. Monday for sure. Feeling great.
