Default Range hood in 1990 Classic.

Gary got to thinking about the range hood in your restoration. Our range hood doesn't even vent to the outside. Looked at a few brochures from later years of HiLo and no range hoods. Who has a range hood? Does it vent to the outside? Ours has a light on it.

Our unit has a range hood that vents to the outside. It has a name of "Ventline" on the inside panel.

Our 2209T also vents to the outside, the 95T has no range hood.

My 2404T vents to the outside. It has a shielded cover on the outside that has a little tab that you have to slide so the vent door will open.

Default Vent hood

Just curious, thanks for the replies. I am positive ours doesn't vent to the outside as nothing external is on the outside of the trailer. Maybe they forgot to install an external vent. Our big escape vent is in the ceiling to the left of the stove. We usually have this open when cooking. Usually I plan and do just about all my meals at home. That way I can just relax and in most cases just have to microwave/reheat. Been doing this for years and it works for me. My DH is a good cook,we haven't starved yet!! A member of our camping club noticed others with the same model as his had a few more outside storage doors. Yes,someone goofed at the factory. They sent him the doors and he choose to install himself. Mistakes do happen,so I am told, maybe on Mondays and Fridays!!
