Sam missing in action. The worst vacation ever.
Some of you may of wondered why I hadn't posted lately. I have spent the last 13 days in the hospital. I'll spare you all the gory details. I truly had angels around me as surgery was scheduled and then I had a setback so the surgery was canceled. I truly believe I would have died on the operating room table. God bless all the fauthful blood donners,my husband and daughter. Any way I'm home with pain pills and wound care. Hopefully the six weeks of recuperation will go by fast and it all will just be a faded memory soon. Please keep me in yours prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

Hang in there Sam and get yourself healed up. Camping season will be coming on before we know it. We "Snow Belt" people need to have a break.

Sam,
We have been on the road since Sunday and this is actualy the first time I have had a chance to get caught up on the forum. You will certainly have my prayers; I am so sorry to hear that you are under the weather and will pray that God restores your health.
God Bless.

Get well wishes
Thanks for all the get well wishes. Doing a little better each day. Glad to be inside when it is so bitter cold outside. Today I got blessed with a nearly new lift chair for free. Shure feels good to be able to stretch out the abdomen. This also allows my couch potato child to have command of our one couch. Tomorrow is blood work and then a wound check with my surgeon. Every day a RN comes to do wound care at home. My surgeon says if what happened to me had happended to anyone else they would have been freaking out. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse. Could have used my HiLo while I was at the Hospital. The facility was built in 1968. I only got a hot shower one day. Then the maintenance people tried to do repairs on the hot water and then we had no hot water for 12 days. I,m suprised the health dept. didn't shut the Hosp down. I,m guessing they will be out some major $ for repairs. Thanks for all your prayers and get well wishes.

Missing in action again
I've had to be in the hospital the last five days. It is no fun having a fever of 102 and chills. I felt much better after 1 1/2 days of antibiotics. I'm feeling 100% better. Feels great to send DH and DD out to deal with the snow. Today I saw a new Cardiologist and he agreed that my old cardiologist was testing me every year and I don't need this. Take care and stay safe and warm.

Sam,
I am glad you are feeling better. Maybe you and DH should consider coming south for the winter. Keeping you in my prayers. Jerry

Missing in action
I would love to go somewhere warm for the entire winter. Must have a hospital near by. We have our daughter to take to work and pick up. She works about 20 hrs a week. Too cold for her to take the bus. I have a friend that probably would be willing to stay at the house with her.
