Default Snow

Well we are in the eastern PA snow storm, about 2 inches of new now but really coming down, 12 or more expected on top of the melted down to 8 that is already on the ground. We picked a bad year to stay home, usually in Fl.
Wife was in hospital for 6 days turned out to be pneumonia, she is now on oxygen. Looks like we are house bound for awhile. Poor HiLo has about a foot or more snow on top of it and I can't do anything about it.

It will melt. We haven't seen bare ground here in the opposite corner of the state for several weeks, nor have we been over the freezing mark for a couple of weeks. Yesterday the temperature went up 44 degrees from -14 to +30 for the high. Take good care of your sweetie and get her back in action soon. There is a lot of camping to do, and I hope it is soon. We are shooting for May 1.

Expecting 80 this weekend here in West Texas! Rare for this time of year. Winter has been mild.

I had an inch of snow here in Pine last week. Today, it was 72 degrees and clear.

Richard,
I hope your wife is doing better and you can get out of there soon. Driving to Florida may not have been that much better. It is strange weather this year. More snow in Pennsylvania than in the Sierra Nevadas. We were looking a severe drought in Northern Utah and have lucked out with a series of storms in the mountains so we can drink water for another year.

Between the different snows every coupled days we wound up with close to 2 feet on the ground. The daughter and husband and her one son and 3 of his friends came on sat and got us dug out, long drive way. They got my snow blower from a shed to the garage, had not been run in 10 years or more, I got it running and that saved a lot of shoveling.
Wife is ok but not over it yet. She is on oxygen. Looks like we aren't going anywhere till summer.
