I am going to post this again:
It would be helpfull, if everyone on this site, would "edit thier user profile" so that it will post your general area at least, when you post or people look up your username...
it is under USER CP, EDIT YOUR DETAILS, at the bootom of that page, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, has several blanks you can fill with as much detail or general info. I suggest at least state, like me Kansas. I put more detail (nearest city, Salina). it is helpfull info without enough for a stalker ti find me, without finding other details I have left in various places, LOL.
signature means that line at the bottom of all my posts, and where you live is in the top right corner of my posts...

Getting back to camping after 10 yrs.!
We live near F.S., Arkansas, originally from New Orleans. We drive a 2011 Nissan Frontier crewcab 4x4 and tow a 1994 22L. We are just getting back to camping after garaging our hilo for almost 10 years!!! I didn't have the heart to ever sell it!! Any ideas on getting back into camping would be appreciated!
We have done the following: repacked wheel bearings, greased cables, added oil to hydraulic pump, added air to tires that appear fine, sanded and repainted step and bumper, checked roof, cleaned interior! These are things that I read on this site, any other ideas??? Everything works, a/c, refrigerator, hot water, water pump, isn't this great!

Born in Lima, Oh., raised in Indian Lake, Oh. Air Force from 1965 to 1972. Moved to Naples, Florida in 1993 and am now retired and ready to hit the road in my 2007 28 Classic. Can't wait till I get to take the Alaska trip, so I'll be asking all kinds of questions from everyone. What a great forum. Is there anyway to help out on costs of running the forum? Be glad to help out.
Thanks, Bob

Bob, I'm originally from Bluffton, OH - just North of Lima. Live in TN now. Thinking of moving to SW FL. How do you like Naples? Andy

Hey everyone,
We are originally from a little town called Houlton, Maine. It's the county seat of the largest county East of the Mississippi River.
Currently stationed in Anchorage, Alaska.
About to move to Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Hello - My wife and I live in Salt Lake City. I grew up here and she is from South Jersey. I have been camping since I my parents bought a trailer when I was 5. We used to tent camp in the Mountains around here. In 1993 we bought an 11" truck camper and in '07 we bought a '95 22 foot Towlite. It was very gently used and we love it. I retired last year and we spent over 6 weeks in it last year. Not consecutive. I have really enjoyed looking thru this forum.

My wife and I live just outside Richmond, VA. We have a 2807 Classic we bought new in2008. Took a few test trips that year and then hit the road in 2009; 120 days,13,000 miles, 19 states. Getting ready to hit the road again for a couple months starting in September. Lots of 4-5 day trips this year so far. We love it.
