Welcome to the forum! Stay tuned, somebody will come along with some good info for you. I'm not sure, but I believe the pump assembly is a unit like snowplow hoist. The pump on our 2310 HiLo is a Dyna Pump brand name.

Any good auto electric shop that repairs starters, generators and alternators should be able to repair it or ID the manufacture. Also Northern Tool sells a pump unit that is almost identical.

The RV Doctor in Sacramento Calif has a HiLo hydrolic pump assembly. It is at an RV salvage yard.

Look in the Reference Library at the older manuals, some say it is a Prestolite starter motor.

Smile New Hydro Pump Motor

I had to replace the pump motor onmy '84 and couldn't find one for under $300. I tried to get mine repaired-3 auto/hydro shops later nobody could make it work. Got to thinkin' Who else uses hydrolics on cars? LOW RIDERS! I don't know where you live, but you might look into seeing if there is a local low rider club or shop around. I went down to the one here in ALbuquqerque and I found a brand new motor that fit perfectly for $90.00. The adaptor was and addational $10.00. So for $100.00 and tax, I git a brand new motor that was even chromed!! It looks real sweet in and works just great! I f you don't have any low riders locally, let me know on here and I'l post their info so you can get ahold of them. CAMP ON!

Hey Gary,

Got your thinking cap on! Good job.

Just dawned on me that Hi-Lo trailers are the ultimate low riders! How appropriate that a motor tricked out for low rider cars is now in a low rider travel trailer!
