Default 91 FunLite Lift Pump Problem

Have a 91 Funlite that Last month would not lift. Jiggled the manual lower lever, motor started and would not shut off. Replaced solenoid, problem solved. Will be travelling Thanksgiving week, opened up trailer to do systems check, lifted when battery charged. Now wont do anything. Hit switch to lift off of locking bars, just clicks....cannot get it off the bars to lower. Thinking the pump motor is the real issue. How do I get it fixed? Can it be rebuilt? Where do I get parts?

Before messing with the motor, take a set of jumper cables and hook them to your battery and try. When your solenoid clicks, 9 times out of 10 it's a low charge on the battery.

Battery is fine. Fully charged. Jumped, reconditioned on the charger....on a solar maintainer. Crossed over solenoid. Motor sounds bound up.

I cannot read the data on the Pump ID plate. Does anyone have the data on the plate? GPM, PSI etc....I found many pump/resevoir options, just need to know the specs to get a replacement.

Northern tool sell a selection of 12V pumps that are almost identical to the one HiLo provided. Northerntool.com, item 1072-1301 is one of the items. The pump motor is a starter motor and can be repaired and the pump also can be rebuilt.

The pump in the photos that Easy posted is a tight fit in the box. The Haldex pump assembly at Northern Tool seems to be longer. You should make sure that the replacement pump will fit in the space.

You may want to get the pump rebuilt. If you live in an area that requires snowplows on pickup trucks go to a dealer that sells and services them. The lift pumps are quite similar on both the snowplows and the HiLo.

Appreciate the help. Here in College Station, there are no snowplows...I was able to fine the Haldex pump at northern Tool about an hour and a half from the house. Just got it hooked up and operating...It is longer on the resivoir and smaller on the pump motor, drilled a hole, cut out the side of the box and is now working like a champ! BTW, less than half the cost of the pump from the HiLo parts guy.
