After you price the cable replacement package you might want to take a look at the broken cable and simply build one from parts at your local hardware store. Keeping in mind that this is a 32 year old trailer, you are probably going to want to at least try to repair a few things yourself. If you have a significant other or friends that are handy with tools and such I would at least give this a good try. I might also add that you need to pay particular attention to the anchor points and the pulleys along the way. Make sure they are all in good shape.
