Default Lift pump rebuild

Anyone know where you can have the lift pump gone through and rebuilt?
Would like to have it completly checked out and rebuilt like new....seems like it should be possible as it is a hydraulic pump.. Seems cheaper then buying a
new one. Pump is from a 99 funlite think I may have current problem resolved but not comfortable with it now that I had a problem. thanks

You could contact an equipment, snow plow, or farm implement dealer nearby to get the name of who they may use, or they may even do the repairs themselves.

RichR has good suggestion, also Northern Tool sells the same type pump. Ask them who would rebuild there pumps if you were to buy one. Google the manufacture of your pump and ask them about rebuilding and if they have a rebuild kit. I found a parts illustrated breakdown for my pump (Monarch) here on the forum and it list a number of parts kits to rebuild the pump. A good mechanic who rebuilds auto transmissions should be able to do the job also.

thanks for the reply's.....might just bite the bullet and buy a new one to have the peace of mind.

noticed some folks carry farm jacks to raise if needed.....will two work if you put in middle of each side or do you need four, one for each corner? Or is there a better way to raise it if pump goes out? thanks....
