Default lift system

I have 97 hi-lo classic 24d doesn't raise all way up on front of camper on door side like 3 to 4 inches how do I fix this myself I feel like you should be able to jack this side up and take slack out of cable from under camper am I on right track here HELP!!!! LOL... PLEASE

Go to the top of the page and find the "Search" header place curser in the drop down and enter "cable replacement and adjustment". Good, true to life story explaining the entire process. Of course your not replacing the cables, but as you scroll down you'll find the adjustment portion.
To adjust mine, I simply lowered my top all the way, loosened the corresponding cable from the diagram, and tightened it about two full turns. please keep in mind that you may need 2 9/16" open .wrenches and maybe a pair of channel lock pliers Then raised the top and re-adjusted until it was right. take it slow and don't raise it too high. Than seal should just touch the upper flange. Let us know how it works out
