From reading the various threads on tires and wheels, I'm lead to believe the wheels also have a max PSI rating.
I understand Maxxis has a 15" D rated tire that will fit a 15" wheel. However, the wheel must be able to take 65psi pressure. Many of the steel, and presumably alloy wheels of that size can take only 50+ psi air, which means a C rated tire is all that can be used on them.
If the old hands on here know differently, I'm all ears.
