The skirt on my 2307C comes down very close to the tires on each end and covers a bit of the top of the tire. I'm thinking regular RV tire covers would be hard to get on and off. Anyone had any troubles with the skirt being too close? Any solutions?
I removed my skirts altogether. I purchased black door edge molding from an online auto parts store and placed it on the exposed edge. The door edge molding only comes in 1/2 inch width. I would have preferred it a bit wider but that was all I could find. It comes with sticky-stuff already inside the molding so all I had to do was push it along the exposed edge. The wife thought it looked pretty good. I don't yet know how it will hold-up on the open road but I figured if it was made for a door edge it should stay on the trailer edge. If not, I'll probably fill the molding with a stronger glue. Good Luck.
if you have to tow in the rain, you have a good chance of damageing your inside top paneling if you don't have skirts on. this is the case on my 88L, maybe your skirts are different
