Default wheel confusion

Hi, I have a 1508T that I bought used a few years ago. We use it a lot and really enjoy it. It is time for new tires-the tires/rims that are on it now are 5 lug 13 inch tires.

The "tire and loading" sticker on the trailer says it should have 15" tires,
not 13 inch.

Its possible a prior owner put smaller rims/tires on it or that the wrong load sticker was accidentally installed.

It looks like there is room for 15 inch tires and I believe they would improve
safety.

Anybody have any idea what the factory recommended tires are, or have
any input on this subject?

Thank you,
Dennis

Dennis, I'm SURE the OEM wheels that came on your trailer WERE 15" ones! Yes, I'd get 15" wheels and tires to match. In fact, I believe the OEM tires should be 205/75-R15, but your sticker would show what yours should be. I suspect it came with Load Range C tires, but I'd try to find Load Range D ones if you can. Maxxis makes this tire and the new Goodyear Endurance is also available in this Load Range. The Goodyears have a higher speed rating too.
