Default Awning size?

Awning width? 2004 27' Hi-Lo Towlite
I had a new awning installed about 2 years ago and find that the top of the door rubs on it when the awning is out. I think that it is too long (trailer to roller distance) I failed to measure the old one, so now I am trying to find out what the proper width should be. Can someone with a similar year/model please give me that measurement?

Welcome to the Forum! Do mean width as the distance from the gutter to the seam on the roller, or the length of the awning front to back?

On our 2310H the distance is 78" to the first seam and 4 more inches to the second seam.

I have seen some rv's with a plastic wheel on a bracket mounted to their door that "rolls on the awning" when the door opens or closes. Guess this is suppose to protect the awning from rubbing on the top door edge. Maybe something to check in to..............................
