Default fixing old awning or replace?

Hi! We are newbies of a 2009 Towlite! Second owners! Can't wait to spend more time in it this summer. When we were out camping in it over Mothers Day weekend, we noticed one end of the awning was starting to tear. Do we somehow try to goop it or has it reached the end of its life and need to replace? We will need it to use on our big trip, and it is summer but worried if we don't fix or replace, it'll worsen obviously. Suggestions?

Welcome to the forum! Depending on where the tear is, it can be cut and fixed that way.

Default Welcome to the forum.

Some members of this forum have removed the awning fabric and taken it to a awning fabricator/repair shop. They can tell you if it is possible to cut some off and repair by adding some fabric. Look on utube for a tutorial about removing the awning fabric. Only do this if you feel comfortable doing this as it can be dangerous.
