Default Front door replacement/Repair

In need to replace the upper exterior door of our 2003 model 2203 Hi-Lo. The bottom seal has rotten wood and the seal has fallen out. Also, looking at possible ways to replace this seal if we can't get a door replacement.
Thank You

Default rebuilding the upper door.

DH had to rebuild the upper door on our 1990 25ft. Classic. Use treated lumber that you will have to rip down to size. The bottom of our 1996 Classic has a black weather stripping from J&R repair(no longer in business). Check at HD or Lowes in the weather strip isle for something that will work. The skin of the door will come off the lumber for you to make a pattern. I can't take a picture as our HiLo is covered up for the winter. This is a common area to rot out. When you are finished it will be better than factory.

Thank You for the info. I will follow up. I have the bottom piece, so maybe I can get the lumber and re-assemble everything.

Default Rebuilding the upper door.

Even if you could buy the door it would be real expensive.

Agreed! Save the hardware and the outer door skin. The rest can be replaced pretty easily I think.

treated lumber is not recommended for in a house and I would not use it on the camper door also.
No, it is not recommended to use pressure-treated wood indoors. The chemicals used in pressure treatment can be toxic indoors. It is best to use alternative wood options that are safe for indoor use.

I rebuilt the door on my 22T. It wasn't sealed properly around the glass. It's pretty simple process the old wood can be used as a pattern if it's not completely deteriorated.
