Recently purchased a 1990 and want to know if anyone has photos of the roof structure after the rubber roof topping has been removed. What am I facing if I decide to replace the rubber roofing and coating?

Great camper and no leaks but the roof is bumpy and a few dips in it. Very uneven. Interior ceiling is solid and I just remove the vinyl type paper and painted the entire ceiling.

I have not had to rip my rubber roof off. DH spent a lot of hrs. on the roof this summer. He put primmer and roof coating on. This had been done in previous years by DH. Take a picture of your roof so we can help you better. UTube should have a tutioral about replacing Rubber roof.

I am more concerned with the type of materials and what the structure underneath the rubber roofing looks like. With the very uneven roof I now have I am thinking that parts of the structure under the rubber roofing have collapsed or rotted. I am thinking that once the old rubber is removed I will need to rebuild parts of the framing or whatever is there.
