Default Overall length

I am new to HiLo and wondered if the length of the HiLo was 17' would that include the hitch and tongue part in the 17'?

Thanks in advance.

HiLo’s are measured from the tip of the tongue to the back end of the bumper. Add extra inches if you have a spare tire mounted on the rear bumper.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but have been looking both "hi" and "lo" on this forum last couple afternoons, and haven't been able to find the following information:
- Trailer cabin length of 15T or 17T
MINUS
- Tongue
- Bumper
- Spare

Figure one of you fine folks should know!

As I recall, when I measured my 17 footer's "box" a long time ago, it was about 14 ft. I don't know for sure, but I suspect the tongue and bumper would be about the same on a 15 footer, so I'd guess the 15 foot HiLo might have a 12 foot box. (Those are exterior lengths.)

Even the rough estimate is very helpful. Just needed to get a general idea of the body/frame length. Thanks so much!
