On our last trip the rock guard came along the forward face of our 2001 240TD came up missing. Last seen somewhere along I-55 northbound.

Anyhow, any suggestions on replacing it?. The frame seems to be in good enough shape that it can be used. The rubber stripping is still there as well.

According to my measurements, the 'squared' size is 61 3/8" x 24" x 1/16". Of course the aluminum frame has rounded corners, which might mean some trimming with a Dremel type tool.

Assuming I can not find an actual replacement, I was going to go with some Lexan or similar type product. Any suggestions, tips or tricks would be appreciated.

I've not done that repair either. I don't think I'd trust Lexan though. I think it would be prone to cracking over time. You should be able to find sheet aluminum at a metal shop. The stuff on my trailer is diamond plate. Is that what yours was?
