Default slight roof damage

Hello we just found a nickle size hole in our roof looking at old posts we have a handle on how to fix it but the ceiling is a little soft we have had a lot of rain lately and we washed the roof yesterday and there is no water in the camper or water buldges in the ceiling does the ceiling need to be replaced or will it dry out enough to be ok thanks

The water runs down into the walls. The plastic covering on the inside won't let it dry.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. upon second look it looks like the ceiling is softer than I thought we will have to patch the roof then fix the ceiling brfore too long. The wall looks good but we will check it out we are second owners and in the same area a tree fell through the roof. It was professionally fixed but there were some imperfections so its hard to tell what is new vs old.

Default Roof repairs

Do you have a metal or rubber roof? I can advise you better with this information.

Default Hi Sam

new member here. While you're offering advice, please continue with roof repairs for what appears to be a flexiglass/fiberglass/PLASTIC type roof.

That appears to be what I have on my 2001 2401TD. Thanks.

Default Roof repairs

I don't want to give you bad advice or incorrect advice. Never heard of this type of roof on a HiLo . Maybe someone with the same yr. towlite can advise as to the type of roof. Possibly the dealer put something different on when repairs were done. Hopefully you can just patch your roof as we did on our rubber roof. Your inside ceiling may appear to dry out but will have wrinkles as evidence of water damage. It is possible to repair all the damage that you describe.
