Default vent and trim

Has anyone found replacements for the trim for the bottom of the trailer edge and the outside louvered cover for the refrigerator? Probably an air return vent.
Thanks

Default Contact J&R

They put a new outside refrigerator vent on for us when we had our HiLo serviced Oct 22nd 2019.

I suspect you could get the correct cover from J&R if you called them. Which one are you talking about? There is an inlet cover on the bottom half of my trailer that appears to be plastic and a metal outlet cover on the top half that's held on by 1000 screws. The top one is the louvered one on my trailer.

J&R can probably help with the trim strip too.

What I did on mine to replace the bottom aluminum trim on my trailer. I had a place that bent me a peice of aluminum about 2" wide by 1/2". AS some of the bottom of the top of the trailer was bad. This helped so no more weather could hurt it. It was the ceapest thing I could do. Replacing with the same stuff would have cost over four times more.

J &R does have the parts. They told me that rot caused by an improper seal around the trim is a common repair. The trim that they recommend is now 1 in. to give a better seal. High Profile Trim : $4.50 per lineal foot / $36 for an 8' piece from J& R. sounds like a good preventive.

I paid about $34 to do the entire length on both side of my 21 foot. Of course this company claims to be a Non-profit (not by choice) company. I did not understand that but hey, I got it done a lot cheaper then expected.
