I am missing the little pin hinge for the right side of my water heater door hinge. is this a common item i can get at camping world or a catalog or will I need to become more creative?

Thanks- Rick

water door hinge

I went over to my HiLo today to get some of my Daughters clothes for a family reunion sleepover. Didn't think to look at my water door. DH thinks on our 90 Classic that it is an inside piano hinge. Hope this helps you.

Mine is little metal pin type. I may have to replace the access door for about 30 bucks.

hilltool,

Don't waste your money and order a new door, because the parts you need do not come with the door. You probably have a six gallon Atwood water heater in your unit. I googled Atwood water heaters and came up with the following info: Atwood part is called a water heater door hinge/latch kit. The Atwood part # is 91858. A online store at Used RVs, Motorhomes for Sale, and Consigned sales - PPL Motor Homes is listing the kit as reg $20.09 and on sale for $13.88. The picture shows the 2 mounting brackets, 2 wire pins, and upper spring loaded latch handle. Hope this helps you out.

Bob,
That helps a lot. Would have been fun to order the whole door and not get the hardware. I'll check it out.

thanks

I would look for a small stainless piano hinge and use that, less expensive and it will last longer, and you always want to" build a better mouse trap"
