Default Black Water Tank

Has anyone remover the black water tank where there is the shower toilet combo? Mine is leaking with about 5 gallons in it and I need to fix it soon. I pulled the toilet off and the tank don't look like a regular tank. I looks like a box with the top being the fiberglass part that the toiled bolts to.

There are several posts on the forum that address this issue, most of which do not require the holding tank be removed. Look at this thread and see if it will answer your question about repairing your holding tank:

Jerry, thanks for the reply. My black tank is under the floor and not seen from under the trailer as is my gray tank. I will start to work on after the first of July and try and get some pics posted up.
