Default Fresh water tank drain

Is this a standard drain for the fresh water drain? It looks like it would be easy to damage or maybe knock it open.

Looks like someone changed the drain system on your unit. My 21T I had and my 27T both have standard RV drain spigots, which can be found at any RV parts supplier.

Normally the drains come out on the side or front corner of the trailer, not underneath the trailer.

The drain valve on my 2805C comes out of the bottom of the tank just like your picture. I don't think there was any standard thruout the many models thru the years.

Hi-Lo was famous for doing "rolling modifications" over the years. They would try something for a while and go back to prior designs. I think that is probably done industry wide if we were to check into it.

Default drain

Thanks I will leave it alone. Was just wondering if I should change it. Former owner had a lot of flat tires and he wasn't into repairs or maintenance. You should see how he plumbed the new facquet in the bathroom but it is fine now.
I want to add a camera and hit the road.

Default fresh water drain valve

My 2805C had the fresh water tank drain mounted on the "outside" of the camper's skirting right by the steps. It was a two fold problem. I had problems with the drain valve material deteriorating I assumed due to the sun. So I replaced it a couple of times. The second part of the story is "grandchildren". The very visible drain valve was a curiosity to say the least. Found it open once and my water just pouring out. So to solve both problems I replaced it with a metal ball valve and mounted in inside the camper's skirting so no one (grandchild) can't see it. Just another way to skin a cat. ha
God Bless all,
Papa
