Hot Water Heater

A trip to the hardware store could get you a short length of 1/4" copper tubing, a compression to pipe thread fitting, and a pipe thread to hose thread adapter. Add a hose shut off valve and you will have it. The copper tubing can be bent to the shape you need to get around inside the tank.

And, at the price of copper now, you could have your own DIY tank cleaner for no more than maybe 5 times the cost of the one from Camping World! :D :D (That's MY kind of project!)

Jack, You are probably right on that, but like most things anymore, the shipping will cost you more than the item you are purchasing. You just can't get ahead sometimes. :)

I was being very tongue in cheek there. If I have the chance to make something rather than buy it, I'll tend to opt for "making" anytime, regardless of cost or time needed to do so.

(However, MOST of my projects have been "cheaper".)

My homemade one is made up of $10 in parts that I had on hand. Next time I go by State Trailer Supply I will check it again.
