Default Leaving your water heater on all day or should you turn it off.?

For those with DSI water heater you should heat the water up and turn it off until you need it again. For those that must go outside to light your water heater do this. Light your water heater and you should have hot water within 10 minutes. This will be in the Run position. Then go outside again and put it in the piolet position. This will save propane. Put it in the Run position when you need hot water again.
