Default car battery or deep cycle

I was just wanting to get some ideas of what battery would be better?

As campthewestcoast said a deep cycle battery is needed as a car battery can't take the constant discharge and recharge that happens in and RV as almost everything runs off the 12 volt battery.

That's a very good link, Rich. And I'd like to point out that they say to try to minimize "deep cycling" the deep cycle batteries, because even though they handle it better than ordinary ignition batteries, they still don't like it.

The term "deep cycle" is a misconception. Who came up with that anyway?
