Default Factory Generator Location

I am considering purchase of a HiLo and noticed that a generator from the factory is an option in the sales literature. Where does (did) the factory install it, what did it run on (propane?), how many watts, and would it run the AC unit?

The generator was made by Onan and they are expensive. It was hung under the floor on the left side towards the front, they cut an opening in the skirting, and it was exposed to the elements, the Onan in and open condition is rather noisy. It ran on propane and it did run the air conditioner. If you have a pickup truck a quiet generator capable of running the AC can be left in the bed, and much cheaper than the Onan but it would run on gasoline, a better choice in my opinion.

Here is a pic, of the Onan--
