Default A/C delay

Hello.

Anyone of you HiLo Guru's know if the A/C has a delay before the compressor kicks back in? I have a 2204 Towlite. I am planning on putting in a Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C and would like to know if I am going to need to select the longer delay on the surge protector. I did a search here but did not find a definitive answer. I also looked through the owners manual and a/c manual without any luck.

Thanks in advance!

There is no time delay that I know of, when the thermostat contacts close the compressor starts. If power comes back on to soon after interruption the compressor overload will kick out. Don't know what year trailer you have but if the AC is a Dometic, you can contact them to verify.
