Kelly, the A/C has a high starting current draw, that is probably tripping your breaker as it begins to run. I'm guessing you are trying to power it off of a 15A circuit. I don't think this will work. I'm sure you need to plug the trailer in to at least a 20A circuit and even then you would NOT want to have the refrigerator, water pump, hot water heater, or anything else running off electrical power in the trailer because that would increase the electrical load on your home circuit.
I've had my A/C trip a campground 30A circuit breaker when we tried to run it along with the refrigerator and hot water heater on electrical power.
I never try to run the A/C in my trailer when I'm at home.
