Default A few pictures from trip to Pagosa Springs, Co.

We made it back safely! Now have had time to catch our breath. I will post a few pictures every so often to whet your appetite and make those traveling feet start to itch! My wife stayed for 3 weeks and I made it up for 5 days. We have left the camper for my daughter's family to take to Oregon in October! I hope everyone on the forum has being doing ok and nice to be back for awhile!

Wayne!

I believe that's a picture of Treasure Falls - a short walk from a turnout partway up Wolf Creek Pass?

It's been a few years since I've seen it. Thanks for the memories.

It's a pretty pass, one of my favorites.

- Jack

Default Indeed it was Treasure Falls

Jack,
It was 36 years ago that I packed my 2 year old daughter in a back carrier up to the Falls. This trip, I walked to the area with my grandchildren in tow. What memories it did bring back!

I have been recruited as a consultant for the Nueces Canyon School District in Texas. I didn't get to take pictures yesterday, but will be prepared on my next visit. I went south of Sonora to Hwy. 55 and cut off over to Rocksprings, then down to Barksdale, and then in to Camp Wood. What beautiful canyons, mountains and most is along the Nueces River. First time I had ever been to these places, but I see the Hi-Lo headed down there when it gets back from Oregon!

Default Few more Camping Pics!

We sure have lots of fun! Our children who have been to Disney Land, Disney World, Six Flags etc., but when we talk about trips and vacations they always talk about our camping excursions! When I say excursions, I mean the ones in the tent, the ones in the old pop up Palomino we bought for $400, the camp trailer. They can sit and laugh for hours about all of our "adventures/misadventures"! Still making memories, now with the Hi-Lo.
