Love your Awning!

I know it can be a pain threading it in before raising the top, but it's well worth it!

Since 1995, Mine's been a 12oz x 24' x 18' Truck Tarp! With Grommets strategically placed, I use 9 (+2=11) posts, 4 on the outer side making 3 on the ends, with two across the middle Placed on removable stumps in high winds and storms [tied together at the tops to the outer Corner Posts to keep them from Braining someone].

After the 26th year last year, it's in the repair shop for some slight patching and new stronger grommets, especially with a "new" Hi-Lo"! Has a few small pin holes to fix, but otherwise, has held up well. Lot's of Storms, etc., but only for 2 week periods in September each year.

Wouldn't want to buy another one, because it would be nearly $1K rather than just over $200 like this original. Only $100 to repair.

I also have pretty good used commercial carpet down for the whole area, making a pretty nice Pickin' Parlor/Living/Dining Room.

This year, since I've found this Forum after all these years, maybe I'll try to Post some Pics somehow. Presently I haven't found a decent way to copy them from my Camera to this durned Laptop.

Default My 24' x 18' Canvas Tarp/Awning

Finally got internet back and will try this again. I'm now able to upload Pics from my Camera. The 1st 3 are at night after the other Pickers & Griners moved to another Jam. The other two are when we were packing up & drying stuff 1st because of a rain at 7 AM which had taken the Tarp Down while pulling about 5 stakes.

Also in the garage, some stuff to pull it:
1999 3/4 ton 'Burb
1993 Roadmaster wagon (well, it probably won't pull it)

Looks like you had a great time! I like the nice big covered area you have with the tarp and also having the grass covered to keep the dirt out of your Hi-Lo. Glad you found the forum and posted pics!

That's what I did with my 1st Cheap Tarp Awnings. But they only lasted a few years, not many. Now as above, with the Repairs, maybe I'll get another 25 years or so out of this one?
