Default Fall creek falls

Fall Creek Falls State Park
2009 Village Camp Road |
Pikeville , TN 37367-9803 | Office: 423-881-5298

We went camping at Fall Creek Falls in April of 2008. Me, DH and Opry, our beloved sweet pound puppy, who it still hurts to say, is no longer with us, we think of him often.

Fall creek falls is a very popular park in Tennessee, mostly due to its picturesque falls. The overlook trail is a short and easy. The trail to the base of the falls is rough and rugged, and the length varies with your starting point. It's a great park, especially if you like hiking.

Here's the link to the parks website if you'd like more detail.

Thanks for the info and the photos. It looks like a beautiful park. My DW, Cindy, and I plan on camping there in July on our way back from an A-liner rally. Do you have any recommendations on the best campsites, as it will be our first time there? I tried to make reservations online, but they apparently, do not reserve campsites.

Thanks,

Chip

Sushidog -

Welcome to HTF

You'll love the park, make sure you have your camera with you! I can't remember which sites were better, we always try to pick something close to the bath houses as we prefer their shower to ours. You're right that they don't take reservations. There is only a couple in the state of Tennessee that do take reservations, I don't know why that is really

Have a great time!

Neal
