Default Our first camping trip June 2015

We spent 5 days in the camper for the first time. It was awesome that we ended up with 4 Grandkids, 2 dogs, and the wife and I. Everything worked fine except the water system. Hooked the water hose to the inlet valve and it was filling with water, then a small pop, and water was everywhere. Got home and found a hole in the bottom of the fresh water tank and the bypass pipe was completely clogged. We don't expect to camp without water hookup so I am going to do away with the water storage tank and be direct city hookup.

Other than that was awesome and I have attached some pics of the setup.

Default First camping trip

How big is the hole in the fresh water tank? Do you think it could be patched?

I don't think so. The hole seems to be about the size of a pencil. And when you roll the tank you can hear all the loose rust moving around in there, so I would say it is toast. I will fix the water inlet so that if I ever sell the camper someone could install a new plastic tank. Just don't think we will need it for our use.

I like the rear sharp cutoff on your camper. If you notice many of the latest, most aerodynamic cars end with a sharp cutoff rather then rounded corners. Something called the Kamm effect.
I also like the A/C, that is my kind of saving and I bet it works just fine.
