Default how to remove curtians

Hello, recently removed my curtains and wanted to share.

1st - remove all long screws that are hidden below outer sheath (see pic 1) These can be difficult but I found there are usually 3 across the top and 1 on the sides. You'll have to move the fabric to expose these screws.

2nd - once the screws are removed you can pull of the top and turn unit around. Underneath you'll see that the curtain staples. I used a flat head screwdriver to pry from underneath and used some needle nose pliers to pull them all out.

I've seen a few questions on how to do this so thought i'd share. It's the least I can do considering i'm a camper newb and will have more than my fair share of questions! Count on that lol!

If the curtain framing is anything like mine, it is very flimsy and should be handled with care or it will fall apart. It seems the frame was held together more with the valance material and the ungodly number of staples used to keep the fabric in place.

Default Removing curtains.

Just curious as to why you removed your curtains. Was it to clean them?

I kid, the wife and I just didn't like them (color was a different green and they looked old).

On ours, wife did not like the fabric on the valance which covers the screws so I removed it. As Garry noted, there were a thousand staples to remove first!
