Default Installing Coat Hooks

I have a 2008 Hi-Lo, 2408T. I want to install some coat hooks on the back wall in the bathroom. The hooks will clear everything when the top is retracted.

I have a couple of questions:

1- Is the sidewall framing on my unit wood or aluminum?

2- What's the easiest way of finding the frame members? Will an electronic stud finder work?

Thanks,

Raul

Don't know about coat hooks on the back wall, but we installed our coat hooks on the "wooden ceiling beam" that seperates the bathroom from our rear bedroom. They do not get in the way when lowering the top. I would post a picture but my trailer is still at J & R in Butler.

Thanks, I thought about that location, as well as the left and right sides of the bathroom cabinets. My wife prefers the back wall.

The framing is widely spaced aluminum tube. Look at one of the brochures in the reference library. http://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f52/...2008-hi-lo-10/

we put some in our trailer in the bathroom as well. We used command coat hooks. If your not familiar with them , they are the stick on style that leaves no mark when removed , by pulling a little tab at the bottom. These are sold everywhere in many styles. I put them up 2+ years ago and they have never came off. We Even hang our wet towels on them. We mounted them to the white interior walls , not to the wood.

RichR:
Thanks for the suggestion. I did not think to look at the brochure.

455lark:
Thanks, I will first try to use the hooks that you suggest. My previous travel trailer had sidewalls with a very thin finish/veneer and anything like this would cause it to delaminate locally. It's good to know that the Hi-Lo interior walls will not do this.
