Default Mold Damage - rip out replace cost?

So was looking at a used 2002 22T that looked like it had some serious mold damage spots all along the front top insides of the trailer. They wanted $6000 for it but could not bring myself to pay that much, when list price is saying $5000.

Just want to know how much it costs (how much time, how much tools, how much supplies) to rip out a wall, and replace all the foam insulation in that section?

Yes it did smell moldy, but no big stains. the roof support structure had some kind of xray shadow showing on interior roof, and, and the walls has spots with hard points sticking out of the vinal covering, so assume its some mold-fugus growing and trying to burst through the bubble section where water leak got through.

Do not think the windows \were ever removed and caulked. do not think the roof caulking was ever redone.

Yes bet everyone is going to say walk dont run from this; but would like to know are we talking $1000 or $3000 worth of repairs to get it back working?

This is what it cost me to replace the inside ceiling, walls, and paint the roof. I spent almost a year fixing our Hi-Lo.

Not sure but I would almost bet something is wrong with the ceiling.

You might want to look at this video to see what you could be getting into

Gary, that was an excellent video and, you did beautiful work! Thanks for posting it. I'm sure it will help others with HiLos in a similar state.

Default Repairing HiLo

Goshawk,Welcome to the forum. I would never pay $6000.00 for any trailer in that condition. Hang on to your money. A better one will come along.
