Default Valance Removal

We just purchased a 2007 17T. The window coverings look like they have all the dust and dirt since 2007 and maybe before -

I have attached a photo of the covering style. I'd like to take the whole thing off but am not sure how the valance and curtains are attached.

Someone did say there are screws but I can't feel any. Where exactly are they?

Thanks!
Riley and Rainy

Hi Riley and Rainy - welcome to the forum.

I have the same kind of curtains and valence in my trailer and I've not figured out a way to remove them either. However, I don't really need to.

Be patient, someone will come along and give you some help. I think there WAS a thread that talked about removing them that was posted a couple years back, but I don't know where it is. And, I can't really think of a good search string to use to find it.

Edit: OK, I just found this thread: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f31...assembly-3900/ He says there are screws "hidden" under the material and you have to pull the material on the valence out of the way to remove them Possibly, you might be able to "feel" their location if you checked carefully around the area next to the wall?

- Jack
