Default 2004 17T Renovation

We picked up our 2004 17T last November. We went through it all winter to update the interior and replace some tired parts. I have quite a few projects I would like to share with this group. I put together a video of the finished inside just before we loaded it up for our first trip last weekend. I got a lot of ideas from this forum as I went through the process. Maybe this video will help someone else along their journey.

Default Thanks for making the video.

Outstanding job!! Love the pop up electrical. I would suggest that you pull the shades into the up position for travel. This way they won't bang around and get bent. Now go camping and enjoy all your hard work.

Beautiful work, Mike! I like your choice of colors inside and your drawers look perfect. Looks like you redid the flooring too? It's fun making a HiLo "your own", isn't it?

Yes - we redid the floors too. I used the glue down vinyl planks. We were very happy with the way they turned out.

Mike, fantastic renovation! The addition of drawers makes it much easier to access stored items. Just wondering did you remove the cabinets and reinstall or put the new glue down vinyl over the original?
Looking forward to seeing any exterior projects you have done.
Thanks for sharing. Tom 2203T

Tom - I left all of the cabinets in place when I did the floors. I was able to cut out the old flooring right up to the edge of the cabinets. I was quite happy to find out that the original flooring was not glued down. It came up pretty easy with a sharp blade in the utility knife. It was quite tedious to cut the new flooring planks to fit around some of the corners and other tight spots. Hope this helps.
