I have a 2000 22L that is to low to the ground. Has anyone ever attempted to put the axle under the leaf springs (flip them) to get the height up? I have seen on you tube this could raise the height by 6"

Welcome to the forum. If I remember correctly, some members of the forum have raised their clearance on their trailers. Use the search feature. I'll see if I can find the link.

Are you sure your trailer has leaf springs? Somewhere along the way HiLo switched to rubber torsion suspension.

If you have torsion bar suspension, you can have spacers welded in between the frame and the axle to raise the trailer. That's what I had done.

I had that done also. My trailer is a 2001 and it has torsion axles. No leaf springs. I added about three inches to it. Works nice.
