Default How to fix this sagging corner?

I've got a corner that's sagging. It was slightly sagged when I got it, but it's gotten pretty bad over the last year.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Rip out that bottom part and put a fresh 2x3 on there? Add a post going up to the ceiling? Steel plate somewhere?

I've not had this problem, but it looks to me like the wall is rotted pretty badly, at least along the bottom edge. I think, if I had this issue, I'd take the siding off so that I could determine the extent of the damage.

Once off, you should be able to determine what needs to be done to both fix it and to build it so that it would not reoccur.

Default Fixing wall sagging.

I agree with Jack's advice. Rip the wall back to expose the rot and fix. This could possibly weaken the structure. Brace with wood on the inside. Looks while you are doing repairs your bulb seal needs to be replaced. One possible source of water intrusion is from the windows. Recommended that you remove the windows and line with butyl tape and Lexel caulk on the outside. You tube has a video on how to do this. Check the HiLo over for any other areas that need to have the caulk renewed. Hope you are handy!! Many including myself have done major repairs. Best of luck with repairs.
