Default Manual top raise-Do all units have?

Do all Hi-Lo's have manual option of raising top? My '96 has bar near battery but I can't see how this might be the source for manual operation.

Help please. I'm brand new. Bought FunLite on 08/12/16. It's 24'. Got a lot to learn.

Miranda, can you upload a pic of your pump. Not all Hi Los had that option, but if yours has a pump handle, you may have a manual pump. If so, it would be part of the pump itself.

Miranda, the 1996 Funlite only had the "Manual lift-Backup" as an option. If the original owner wanted it, they would have to purchase it as an add-on. They may have done that! See your message under "Funlite/Towlite What's the diff?" RichR put a link under that heading for reciting the specifications of your 1996 24' Funlite, and I note that the manual lift-backup is shown as an option which is available for purchase.

Thanks Dee. Seems original owner might not have bought this as option, although I see a metal bar (hollow), about 18" long in tool compartment. Could this bar possible be connected near battery to manually lift? Sorry I am really new to this.

A photo of your battery/lift compartment and the bar would be helpful.

Welcome to the forum. This link should help you out. Manual lift was an option at one time. You should be able to open your battery box enough to access it.

Your Classic should have the manual lift as standard equipment. Look for an opening on the side of the pump/battery compartment that accommodates the jack handle which is like a bottle jack handle.

Default Don't worry about asking questions.

Many of us have owned our HiLo for many years. Still learning something new thanks to this forum.

Look in the reference library for the closest year to your's. I know there is an '81 owners manual. That's pretty much the same as yours, they didn't change much. Also, check out those videos by sting32!
